
The Vice Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarship is intended to reward high-achieving non-EU international students starting at the University of Liverpool in 2010.
About the Award
All new international students starting full-time non-clinical undergraduate programmes in September 2010 who achieve AAB in their A levels or equivalent will receive a Vice-Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarship of £1,500.The award will be deducted from tuition fees. Eligible students will receive the Award for each year of their undergraduate studies subject to satisfactory academic progress (see below).
It is possible to receive this scholarship in addition to the the Regional Award. It will not be available to those receiving the International Baccalaureate Award.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this award you must:- be liable to pay full tuition fees at the overseas rate
- be starting a new non-clinical undergraduate programme in academic year 2010/11
- achieve AAB grades in A-Levels or the equivalent (click here to see a list of the other qualifications considered equivalent to AAB in A-Levels).
You can receive the Scholarship for the duration of your undergraduate programme, subject to your level of attainment being maintained at 70% or more. A student who receives the Scholarship at the start of Year 1, fails to achieve 70% in their Year 1 study, then subsequently achieves 70% in their Year 2 studies will not be eligible to receive the Scholarship for their Year 3 studies.

Exceptions
Students undertaking clinical programmes (see definitions) are not eligible for an IB Award.How to apply
