KCA Deutag Business Scholarship For Undergraduate Students

KCA Deutag is the largest platform drilling contractor in the UK sector of the North Sea, one of the largest international drilling contractors outside the Americas and a world leader in drilling engineering, drilling facilities engineering, rig design, construction and operation.

KCA Deutag employs over 5,000 people worldwide and from designing the next generation of drilling rigs and facilities to delivering highly complex drilling programmes, we look to our people for success.

The KCA Deutag scholarship is open to second year students to apply, however please note that the schoalrship does not commence till your third year, and offers, in year three of the course, a paid one year placement in Aberdeen.

In year four of the successful applicant's course, the scholarship provides £2,500 along with an excellent mentoring program which runs throughout the honours term. The awardee is also considered for a place within the KCA Deutag Graduate Trainee Scheme.

The closing date for applications is 30th October 2010. All applications must be received by that date in order to be considered for the scholarship.

Applicants will be assessed on academic performance and their interpersonal and leadership skills. Applicants should also show enthusiasm and commitment for a career in the dynamic energy industry. Short listed applicants will be invited to an interview.
