Glamorgan Business School is proud of its long tradition of working with local businesses and the Business Opportunities Scholarship Scheme (BOSS) is an example of the close relationships the Faculty has with the local business community. Our degrees have always been designed in conjunction with business partners to ensure that they provide graduates with all the tools they need to succeed in the world of business. Now local businesses are looking to help students who have a flair and passion for business to become the leaders of the future.
In an innovative move three local businesses are providing £2,000 towards a scholarship aimed at the next generation of business leaders.
The scholarship provides two benefits to the winning applicant. First the applicant will receive financial support towards the cost of the tuition fees. Second, the participating companies will provide support through mentoring as well as work experience opportunities.
This unique scholarship is available to applicants looking to study an undergraduate degree at the Glamorgan Business School in any area of business such as:
- Accounting
- Business Management and specialist awards such as HRM, Marketing and Supply Chain Management
- Leisure, Sport, Tourism or Events Management
The winning applicant will receive £1,000 from CBS to help with study costs. In addition 2 scholarships of £500 will be granted to the runners up.
